Ever feel a constant sense of “I’m not doing enough”
A constant heaviness
A condemnation
An urgency to always do more, be more, accomplish more, cross more off your to do list
You’re never at peace.
This is not from God.
It is not of God
Lighter. Go ever lighter. Not harder, faster, more aggressive
Stop trying to move in your own strength
Trying to “make it happen”
Labour to enter into His Rest.
Rest isn’t lazy.
His Rest is peace. A peace as you work. A peace as you relax.
A peace that is calming and productive.
A peace not dependent on circumstance-
It is not about downtime or how much you don’t work in a day
Neither is it dependent on how many things you accomplish in day
A peace that you cannot earn, nor can you get it from the world.
A peace that is found in Him, that was already given.
